AROC Training Across Australia for Organisations & Individuals.
Flexible, end-to-end AROC training and assessment for aviation organisations and individuals Australia-wide.
What is an AROC?
An Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) is required for personnel - other than flight crew - who transmit on aviation VHF radio frequencies.
AROCs are commonly held by RPAS operators, aerodrome personnel, aviation contractors, maintenance staff and others who need to communicate on aviation frequencies as part of their work.
Aviation Radio Australia provides CASA-aligned AROC training and assessment, from online theory through to practical assessment and application.
AROC Training Process
End-to-end AROC training, from enrolment to receiving your certificate.
-
We coordinate enrolment and provide you or your team with immediate access to our online student portal.
-
Students complete structured theory modules and realistic practice exams at their own pace. Most students finish in under 5 hours.
-
We conduct the required theory exam and practical radio assessment in under 3 hours at one of our convenient assessment locations.
For organisations, we can also conduct the assessment on-site at a location of your choosing. -
We lodge each student’s CASA AROC application on their behalf. The application fee is included — no hidden costs.
-
Successful candidates receive their AROC on the same day that they complete the course.
